Inpatient Guidelines

May you recover soon! We’ll do our best to help you regain your health as soon as possible. Please read and follow the below guidelines that will ensure your safety, security and protection.

Nursing Services

When you arrive on the floor after registration, service head nurse will welcome you to your room, give you intructions about our clinic, and answer your questions. Please do not intervene in your patient’s treatment without consulting the nurse. During work shifts at mornings and nights, relief nurses will visit your room. Please do not hesitate to inform the head nurse or the hospital management about any malfunction or problem.

Companion

Our patient rooms are designed to accommodate one family member or companion. Accomodation and three meals a day for one companion is included in hospital charge.

Patient Bed

Each patient bed is equipped with a hand switch/remote control to operate all functions of the bed and to put the patient in his desired seating, lying or reading position. Your nurse can explain how to operate your remote control.

Call Bell

There are two call bells (red buttons) in your room – one is on remote control and the other is in the bathroom- within your reach that allow you to request help from the nursing staff. Once you press the red button, the nursing staff will get you an answer or the help you need as soon as possible. Your nurse can explain how to operate your call bell.

Doctor Visit

Your physician will visit you twice a day.

Television

There is a LCD television with a remote control system available in your room.

Air Conditioning

Cooling and extra heating is available through the air conditioner in your room. Your nurse can explain how to operate your air conditioner.

Telephone Service

Contact numbers for Clinical Guesthouse are +90(252) 513 10 50 and +90(533) 213 17 90. The extension of your room is the same as your room number. To call outside the guesthouse please dial “0” for Front Desk.

Free Wi-Fi

Wireless Internet access at Clinical Guesthouse allows patients, families and guests to use laptop computers, smartphones and other Wi-Fi-enabled devices to connect to the internet free of charge.

Security Cameras

For the safety of our patients and staff, the guesthouse, including parking areas and fire stairs, is monitored by video cameras 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Wardrobe

There is a wardrobe in your room for storing your clothes and other personal belongings.

Personal Belongings

Keep your purse, wallet, keys, handbags and other valuables with you at all times or keep them locked in your room. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings.

Hair Dryer

At your request, your nurse or front desk attendant will provide you a hair dryer.

Electrical Home Appliances

Please do not use small appliances like toasters or kettles in your room, since they may cause major technical problems.

Mini bar

There is a mini bar fridge in your room, turned in clean and empty for your service. If you fill in a shopping list provided from the nurse desk or front desk, your shopping will be done from a department store once a day, payment will be expected from you in return for the bill or voucher.

Housekeeping Services

Bed sheets of our patients and companions are changed every other day or more often if needed. Room and bathroom cleaning is done twice a day or more often if needed. Our housekeeping team strives to keep your room clean and sanitary.

Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services

If you need dry cleaning or prefer to send out your laundry, our professional laundry and dry cleaning services are available at a reasonable rate for all guests of the clinic. Guests may order laundry & dry cleaning services from their rooms with the provided in-room laundry bag. Please call the Front Desk for assistance and the price list.

Foodservices

* Patients and one companion for each are provided with meals three times a day.

* Meals will be served at your bedside by the kitchen staff.

* Generally meals and drinks are served between the following times.

Smoking

It is forbidden by law to smoke in and around the facility, including patient rooms.

Visiting Policy

Only one family member or companion is allowed to stay with the patient. Visiting hours is between 10.00 and 22.00 every day. According to the security precautions name, mobile phone number and signature or the visitors along with the entrance and leaving hours will be recorded in the visitor logbook. No more than three people should visit a patient at one time. Please comply with requests from the nursing and security staff.

Free Shuttle Service to downtown

Free shuttle runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 6 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturdays between Clinical Guesthouse and downtown.

Taxi

Called by the front desk attendant upon request.

Discharge Procedure

When your doctor approves your discharge, your file is immediately sent to front desk. As a general rule, discharging later than 11:00 a.m. adds another day to your hospital stay. You will get a copy of your discharge summary records including diagnostic studies, procedures, or surgeries that were done and their results as well as your medications. For billing and payment matters, please contact the front desk.

Surveys

Our nursery staff and housekeeping team is ready to help you with your needs and problems. However, if you experience any issues that can not be solved in a timely manner please fill in the surveys and compalint forms that will be frequently applied to you.
